a few of my current favorites

These two. Always and forever! Even though Eric is fake-cheesing it hard core so that I will hurry up and take the picture and be done with it ;)
Pumpkin food! Apparently I've outdone myself in the baking department because Eric is sick of pumpkin and won't eat it anymore. I don't know why he's complaining (okay, I'm complaining. I won't bake it anymore because I eat it ALL. No good for my badonkadonk) Who knows when I'll pick up the baking vibe again, if ever ;)
Our golden leaves! Between the glorious weather and the changed leaves, we have experienced perfect fall weather this last week. I am sure that I couldn't be happier about it!
Spin! I went to spin this week for the first time in months. Oh how I've missed it! I am dying to start taking classes at the gym again, but I also die a little lot inside thinking of taking Mia to the daycare and subjecting her to the nastiness of germs and snot-nosed kids. (I used to work at a gym daycare... I know how not clean it is. And I know other mothers take their sick children to the daycare. GROSS!) But I don't know what other option I have during the long winter months?
We all know I kind of hate where I live, but I admit that it's been so much easier these past few months. A huge part of that is the happiness that Mia has brought in my life. And she has taught me to remember that it truly is the little things that make the world go 'round! But mostly, Eric and I have been blessed to make amazing friends here! I am so grateful for them!
My new "mom" car :) It's my favorite! I can't wait to share pictures!!
Blogging! Duh.
Shellac. Why didn't I discover this stuff years ago?? Probably because it didn't exist. But I am loving getting my nails done and having them last 3-4 weeks without one. single. chip. Cheers to cute fingernails!
Instagram. I'm seriously obsessed. But I love posting the little details of Mia's life that I would otherwise not record and totally forget. I can only imagine how much more fun the captions will be under Mia's picture once she starts talking :) And heaven knows how I love to stalk others lives #truth!! So yes, Instagram is my favorite!
What are some of your current favorites??

Ok so I got shellac and I HATE it! It could very well be that I got it done cheaply, but the lady took the polish straight to my cuticle so the moment my nails started growing out (like 2 days later) the abrupt edge would catch on EVERYTHING. And now I can't get this crap off :-) Haha *end rant*

P.S. Those leaves in the background of that picture are TO DIE for! Love this time of year!

I'm fully struggling with gym daycare. We took lex ONCE and she hated it. But I'm super lame and got a trainer- so Homegirl needs to suck it up and go.We'll see how long it lasts before I'm begging him to switch me to nights... Last time I took her there were zero other kids- better for germs. Worse for her and her separation issues.

I'm officially not coming over anymore if there won't be baked goods upon my arrival.

Ha! My hubby is the same way with photos...we are doing family pics this Sunday and he is so no looking forward to them. Such a stinker. :) Mia is so cute...those little teeth! I totally agree with you about the gym daycare thing. I've really wanted to start going to the gym again a couple times a week but I can't justify the little daycare. :/ -Andrea

Shellac..Oh how I love it! I need to get back to the gym..soon! I've been doing T25 at home, but it's nice to escape to the gym once in awhile, throw on the headphones and just get lost in your own little fitness world:) I see a gym night in my very near future now!

Winter months and exercising is HARD (not to mention all the holiday sweets I want to eat...). I'm already having a hard time getting my body up and out of bed to go running before the sun comes up, and there are so many more months of this to come. I'm looking into jogging strollers so that maybe I can get out there when it's actually light out and a few degrees warmer, but I just haven't decided if it's really something I want yet!

I love the leaves changing colors too. All the warm baked goodies, including pumpkin! I sooo need to work out or do spin or zumba. Its just harder for me to find time, boo!

Eric & Mia look SO much a like it's crazy!
I wish I had the itch to bake. Even cook for that matter ahaha
I have wanted to do a spin class FOREVER. I have never done spin ever. I think it sounds fun & an extreme workout.

p.s. BIRDS!!!! I hope your Cardinal fan friends were celebrating like crazy last night :) hahaha
I have to admit I wish bad thoughts on that Big Papi guy. He's got a serous power swing.

What an adorable picture of them! I don't think I could ever get sick of pumpkin, but I can definitely relate to NEEDING to stop eating it. Haha! I need to find you on Instagram!

I'm loving the picture and am so jealous of the changing leaves. We don't have that here.. just beaches! And shellac doesn't work on me. It will last a week, maybe! And that's with me leaving my nails alone. BOO

You can send some pumpkin chocolate cookies my way if you want, I'll gladly devour them, ha ha! I keep thinking that I would like to learn to bake but I worry that I would be good at it and then I would end up eating everything I bake!! :) I have such a sweet tooth, it's untrue!

But Mia is totally into it!

I've gotten Shellac done before and didn't entirely like it. My nails chipped in two weeks :( boo!

And I can totally see your plight about the whole nursery and sickly children and gross germs thing! Eek! I don't have kids but even as an adult, that doesn't sound too good at all.

Love that you're getting back into your usual routine though. Can't wait to read more about them.

OK first of all I just wanna say I've loved following your adorable Mia grow up. She gets cuter and cuter every day! Time for Trevor and Alycia to get on it :) second, I have the same problem with pumpkin. Tony hates pumpkin but I still make treats, then end up eating them ALL! At least you're going to spin class after!

Hi,
I am Eszter.
I just found your blog through Katie.
Next Saturday you could join in on the last topic of our weekly photo challenge if you like. Outdoors is the topic for babies and adults can show off their outfit of the day if they would like to.
I am off the check out the Shellac you were talking about.
Oh and you can put pumpkin slices in the oven splashed with olive oil and this way it is super healthy, no need to feel guilty...

xoxo, Eszter

This is very sweet! We've been eating and baking lots of pumpkins and squashes, and I start to worry we might get tired of it soon. Also, Instagram is my favorite, I don't know how we all lived without it before :-)

The leaves in the background are ah-mazing! I've got green as far as the eye can see. (other than the fake leaves I have as decor - they don't count). Fall colours are the prettiest.
