Today is my mom's 50th birthday so I figured this was the perfect time to review our weekend! My dad put together a surprise birthday lunch for my mom on Saturday and guess what? We totally pulled it off! My mom was so surprised which was so fun to see :) I was looking forward to spending the day hanging out but unfortunately Eric and I had to leave earlier than expected. Not the fun day I had in mind! But I'm glad we celebrated your birthday together, mom!
Sunday was a just the day we needed! We relaxed at home and listened to General Conference which was just what our hearts and minds had been craving! In between sessions we took a drive up the canyon to show Mia (like she cares) the changing leaves! The changes have started but in another week or two the whole mountain will be solid golds and reds! Hopefully we will be able to make it up one more time to see the complete change before the leaves fall off the trees!

We really need to work on getting better family pictures (as in Trevor and Eric need to smile for real, and Mia needs to quit trying to swipe food when no one is looking, ha!)
Happy Birthday, mom!! Luckily for you, I have gifted you with the cutest grand daughter ever. It was a lot of work to grow her so perfectly and bring her into this world! But luckily for me, she is cute enough that I don't have to worry about birthday gifts for grandparents ever again ;) ha ha!

I'm having so much fun catching up on your blog, I've missed you!! You are looking absolutely amazing and Mia is sooo beautiful just like her mama!! You always have her in the cutest outfits. I wish we could have a play date with our girls.

Those pictures are gorgeous! The leaves here seem to bypass that beautiful red and gold stage and just fall right off the trees. Haha...Mia is definitely a great birthday gift for your mom! I can't get over how adorable she is!

Happy birthday to your mom! My mom just turned 50 last month, but we unfortunately weren't able to celebrate it with her, since she lives in Idaho. I'm sure she loved having her family close! :)
