currently...
Loving: that netflix has been updated! It is kind of depressing that we don't have satellite/cable so that I can be up to date with my shows.... until I remember that I don't have time to really sit down and watch TV. So netflix really is perfect for us. And I'm SO excited to finally watch season 2 of Revenge. That show is by far my favorite :)
Reading: I'm about to start Reached from the Matched trilogy. Who's read it? I'm excited to finish these books but I've heard Reached is kind of hard to get into?
Learning: to love my middle part! When I first made the switch I never looked in the mirror and thought I was having a "good" hair day. I was just trying to get used to the change instead of shaving all my hair off ;) But it's growing on me! I think I'm really going to love it, especially once my bangs grow a little bit more!
Trying to: understand how one can strive to be open, honest and good in their dealings, yet everything can be turned around in a matter of hours and suddenly you're the bad guy. I guess the only thing you can continue to try to do is be honest and good, but I just wish everyone in this world was honest so that we would never have to doubt each other.
Wishing: that time would slow down a little bit. Mia turns 1 in December and as much as I love watching her grow... I'm not ready for her baby days to end! It's true what "they" say, time goes by even faster when you have kids. And it's CRAZY how many emotions a mom feels all at once. You think your heart will burst with pride as your baby reaches a milestone but in that same exact moment you think your heart will break because it's all happening too quickly. There's just not enough time in the day to soak it all up! Being a mom is such a trip, ha ha. But it's the best thing that's ever happened to me!
Excited for: I'm not really sure what to say here. I want to say that I'm excited fall is here because who doesn't love the crisp air, the scents that come with the season, the pumpkin treats and the fact that the holidays will be here in no time? Everyone does! But I'm kind of worried that fall will be skipped over in my neck of the woods because it SNOWED on Friday. Snow! Yuuuuuck. And I can tell you that I'm not excited for winter! So maybe you understand why I don't know what to say? :)

It snowed?!? Omg it barely hit 60's here, and that's in the am. It's 80 by afternoon time! On another note, I can't believe Mia is almost 1. It's crazy how time flies.
Snowed already!? Noooo. Yes, let's enjoy Fall first, please!
Reached is totally harder to get into... But stick with it! It gets good (eventually!). I love me lots and lots of teenage trilogies!
I love babies! Buuuuuut, I really love one year olds so it isn't as hard on me to see them grow up. Just wait, one year olds are the best. Two year olds. . . well let's hope it gets better. :)
Snow already?? Eeek!
Baby stage will still linger for a bit ;) . You'll see what I mean when she starts getting closer to 2. I miss the baby stage with my son too sometimes (2 and under) but it's so fun listening to him chatter my ear off and the stuff that falls out of his mouth. It's always bittersweet though (((hug))).
We don't have cable either, but the only channel I desperately want from cable is HGTV. I feel like such a grown up now.
I know exactly what you mean about not being ready for winter! We got the snow on Friday to, and I was so bummed about it.
Revenge is pretty amazing...I'm on the current season but I won't spoil anything for you :)
I read the Matched trilogy all at once (during maternity leave) and liked it, but they all kind of blend together now.
Some days I want time to slow down, and sometimes I want it to speed up just so I can throw Abbie's first birthday...she's December too!
I switch my part all the time, but since I've had this lil' Hooah Hair cut, I haven't been able to! It gets so boring. Maybe I'll try something new!
But winter means 1st birthdays and skiing!!!
as i'm reading this I'm watching Sunday's newest Revenge! :) and sorry you have snow :( i'm still in shorts, tanks and sweating! yuck!
snow?!?! Oh I am SOOO not ready for that!
And we haven't watched Revenge at all, but I hear it's a great show...maybe we'll catch up on it next!
Awwww Mia is such a little sweetheart!! That picture is the cutest, as is your family one on your blog intro section. Too cute! Also, I loooove Netflix! Best. Invention. Ever.
xo
I know its so hard to see them grow. But everyday I cherish it and Julian does something new everyday. But I'm sure you know that. Your a really good mom
Precious photo!! She is such a cutie. We love Netflix too...and I pop on Hulu every now and then now that new seasons are starting back up. You're right though, I had a lot of time to watch shows when I had a newborn sleeping on my chest, but not now! :)
I've been rocking the center part for about 1 good year now and literally; just this week I switched to a side on for some odd reason. I think I'll be switching back and forth now. It's amazing how it changes your "look."
i love netflix, too! i was happy when season 2 of revenge showed up...i think i watched the entire season in a couple days, lol!
[oomph.]
Well hello!! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and loading me up with some advice! :) This mommy thing sure makes for one full day! But it's so worth it. Your little girl is adorable. And I'll tell you this, as soon as my girl turned one it was like she became this whole new person. She went from baby to little kid over night! Soak up these next few months for sure!!
Awe, Mia is such a cutie! ;)
I don't have cable either and love Netlfix! I just wish they added Dharma and Greg!
And you just made me like fall a little more ;). I hate cold weather because I'm always sick and I get a little bit sad.
Hope you're having a great week!
Miki.
Mia is so beautiful!
Revenge is a great tv show, my mom is excited for the 3rd season
Amen to Netflix! And I'm really going to have to check out this Revenge show I keep hearing about.
I cried on my son's 1st bday and I know I will with my 2nd son as well.
Time to get another baby started :D I can't live in a house without a baby!
I loved the first two books in that series but the third one I was disappointed in how it ended. I loved the first book Matched!
