If you ask me, there's nothing quite like a newborn baby burrito! So tiny and snuggly! I love wrapping James up and in a swaddle and watching him instantly relax into his "safe" place! It's obviously very familiar for him and comforting to be swaddled (confined space, ha ha!)
There's also nothing quite like the strength of a newborn AND the learning curve of wrapping that swaddle just right... which is where our love for Summer Infant Swaddle Me comes into play! These swaddles made the transition so much easier on all of us! The Velcro allows us to wrap James up quickly with little chance of him breaking free of the swaddle (because seriously, why do they always wriggle out of the swaddles when they love it so much?!) We have listened to friends swear by these Summer Infant swaddles since we had Mia, and I'm so glad we were finally able to try them out! So is James ;)

Baby burritos are so cute. What adorable blankets!!! Lil man is too precious!
What an adorable little burrito you have there! He's so cute I could eat him up....like a burrito! haha
Baby burritos are so cute! snug as a bug. The free hand swaddles were never my strength ha. We had something similar that I don't recall at the moment, but those things were like little straight jackets. Funny how those work better.
I miss swaddling our little one! I loved the Aden and Anais muslin cotton blankets! So soft! (:
Such a cutie!!

Loved those! I loved that they were light enough for warm weather since the hospital sent us home with a fleece one.
I loved these swaddles with Axel! They were the only thing strong enough to hold him! BUT WHERE'S PART THREE OF YOUR STORY!?!?! ;)
We LOVED those with Mason!!! They were so easy to secure and easy to wrap him in. If we have another baby, I'll be sure to get more! Love the sports one that James is sporting!
These seem so much easier than the usual swaddle blankets! I especially love that solid blue one!
I'm doing some SERIOUS blog catching up today. That last picture of James in his swaddle ohhh myyyy that just pushed my baby fever in full gear!! That sweet face :)
