We have been experiencing the most gorgeous Fall weather so we couldn't resist taking a drive up the canyon to see the changing leaves over the weekend. Our short drive turned into a 3 hour excursion :) While it was a gorgeous drive, it was a little early in the season and a lot of the leaves are still in the middle of changing. But Eric took us off roading (first time in the whole year since we bought our jeep that we've taken it off road, HA!) through the trails where we normally snowboard in the winter (it was kinda cool to be on the slopes and see what they look like when they aren't covered in snow!) and we found a beautiful little valley full of aspen trees. Their leaves were so golden with little touches of red and it was
gorgeous! It was so fun to watch Mia explore and I'm kind of wishing we could do this every day until all the leaves fall of the trees :) This season is being so good to us so far!

I miss seeing the leaves change colors! It's still high 80s here and palm trees tend to stay green. Beautiful pictures!

Beautiful colors. I've been wanting to head up to a local ski hill & they do ski lift rides to look at the colors. I'm gonna have to get on that. :)
