something 'bout a ball park

We had great seats! Thanks Mark!
Melt my heart! These two became best buds!

Eric has helped me find a love and passion for sports that I never knew I could have! I've accumulated a list of sports I wish I'd asked my parents to put me in while growing up. My list consists of: volleyball. That's it, ha ha! But I really, really love going to games with my man! Our favorites are baseball (hello Boston Red Sox loving hubs!) and hockey!
This baseball game was no exception to the fun! Over priced ball park food, lemonade (I don't even like lemonade, but this stuff was amazing!),  best friends, and sweet kisses from my favorite red head. Life just doesn't get much better than that! We weren't able to get into town soon enough to watch the Diamondbacks play the Braves, but we made it to the Dbacks vs. Phillies. The poor Phillies suck, ha ha. And they have the meanest fans! I've never heard fans talk so poorly about their own team. Unless it's my hubs lovingly cussing out his beloved Red Sox ;)
The best part of the night was holding Eric's hand and laughing with my bestie, Jaicee. Her little guy kept us entertained with his clapping and dancing, exclaiming "whoa!" every chance he could, and kissing my leg just because he loves me!
Side note: Eric was holding the little red head, P, when he leaned down and gave me a kiss. Next thing he knows P is headed straight for Eric's lips with an open mouth. If the man gave me a kiss he wasn't going to get away without giving P a kiss! SO SWEET!
I have been in serious need of a night like this! I am still so sad that we moved away from all of our friends and the fun adventures that cities offer. I guess these little trips are going to help me get through this hard transition in my life, right? Or they are just going to make it harder for me to go back home :) Either way, I live for these fun trips and my loved ones that fill them up!

Haha-- awww I love it! :) I Love ballparks too, we watched the Reds v. Giants game last night in a DOWNPOUR lol. We kept thinking they would call it, but never did. We toughed it out and it was still a ton of fun!

Glad you guys had such a good trip - I'm so happy that you've been able to take some weekends away from your small town1

Yep, this just confirmed that we were meant to be friends. I LOVE baseball. Like... I get kind of obsessed during baseball season. The games are always on in my house, and I like it more than my hubby does. He get's annoyed at me. Ha ha. Going to games are seriously my absolute favorite thing to do. Our team kinda sucks, though. (Seattle Mariners)... but I love em' anyway! :-)

I wanted to take the boys to a Dbacks game, but the last time I did that... oh boy... it was crazy. I don't think we even watched the game at all... but that was when they were younger... so maybe now they are better? haha
Anyway, you all look like you had mucho fun. That lil guy is too cute. Red hair!!! so cute.

I grew up with my dad and brothers watching a lot of televised sports and I hated it. But after seeing games in person, oh it is so fun, I love it!

Fun!! We haven't been to a baseball game in probably 7 years! We do love football, though and go to at least one game a year... it's crazy because here in Seattle almost every game sells out unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am following along now and can't wait to read more. :)

So fun! The hubs and I are going to a baseball game on Saturday (minor league, but still fun). He's a die-hard Red Sox fan as well, but the games are just too expensive for us to go to, so we settle for watching them on tv.

I think a lot of girls didn't accumulate much of a list for a love of sports. ;) It seems to be the man in our life that brings it out of us. xoxo A-

Looks like you had a blast! I love going to baseball games, but it can get a little slow towards the end. I'm sure it's 100x more entertaining with kiddos! :)

P.S., I'm glad you're going to try the one of the lip balms I mentioned! They're all awesome!

I love this! I have to admit, that my love of sports came from my husband too. I always went to football games in college, but have never had so much fun as I have had at games with my husband. We're even planning a trip to go watch baseball for our first anniversary! :)
