cheese ball {a recipe}

Saturday night we went to our first Christmas party of the season! It felt so good to be doing something festive.... finally. This month is flying by too fast and it feels like we have no time to play or enjoy the Christmas season :( Anyway, we enjoyed ourselves so much that I completely forgot to take pictures. So instead of sharing pictures, I'll be sharing something even better... a cheese ball recipe! I got this from one of my bestie's and it is my favorite thing to bring to parties. It's super easy-peasy to make and it tastes freakin' amazing! Trust me on this one... I'm NOT a cheese lover, but I try to eat the cheese ball all by myself :) But somehow I always get guilted into sharing...

Cheese Ball
2 packages cream cheese
1 lb mild cheddar cheese
1 1/2 packets Ranch salad dressing & seasoning mix
Chopped Nuts (I used almonds, pecans are great too)
Blend cheeses and Ranch packets. Shape into a ball or log then roll in nuts. Saran wrap and put in fridge until hardened.
  This picture probably looks unappetizing but whatever. I barely remembered to snap this picture before it was all gone. I pinky promise it's truly amazzzzing!

Try making this and sharing it at a party... I promise you'll love me forever for sharing :)
P.S. I participated in a blogger glitz and glam swap and was paired with Nicole.
It was so fun to open my package and I love everything she gave me :)

Eep! I'm so glad you got the package! Can't wait to hear if you like it. And I'm thinking you do need twitter. I honestly don't even use mine a ton, but I do announce new blog posts, and if I need to get a hold of blogger friends (ahem YOU!), I can just tweet them real quick. You can have it and not be obsessed, promise! SO... maybe you should get twitter??? haha If it helps, I made fun of it endlessly and resisted as long as i could, but now I love it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE cheese balls. :) I made one for my family Thanksgiving, and my dad insisted on keeping the leftover to snack on. I was kind of sad...because it was so good. :)
