36 weeks {last month!}

picture taken at 36 weeks 2 days (there is a shadow outlining my belly again, making it look a little bigger)

- According to the charts, Baby Girl should be the size of a watermelon now. Yikes! But I don't think she is that big. I'm still measuring small but it's not a problem because we see the right amount of growth each week! (And to be honest? I don't mind if she comes out a little small... she can grow as big as she wants once she's out of my body, HA!)

- I go into the doctor every week now. We are definitely on the countdown!

- My braxton hicks have increased quite noticeably this last week! I don't know if that means anything but I'll find out at my appointment today.

- I find myself slowing down a little more each day. I don't know why... but I wasn't expecting pregnancy to slow me down. Ha ha, I'm ridiculous! But each day I'm a little more worn out, physically and emotionally. But it will all be worth it once I get to hold my baby!

- I'm a BAD mom!! I just realized I don't have a baby book of any sort and I've heard I will want one at the hospital for her footprints? MOMS: Am I going to regret it if I don't have a baby book? What is your favorite baby book? I don't even know where to look for one! Help this mama out, pretty please?! :)

I have a baby book and havent done ANYTHING with it >:-0 ...bad mom alert! I did bring it with me to the hospital but they give you a card anyway so you can always glue it in a book once you get one- I keep saying that I need to sit down and fill it out, but really who has the time with a newborn? haha

I love the C.R. Gibson line of baby books! They go up to 5 years old. https://www.crgibson.com/Baby-Kids/Baby-Memory-Books/Bound-Baby-Memory-Books-3100000684#.UKzdgeRsilU You can also find them cheaper on amazon.com! :) If you don't get a baby book, just buy a cheap ink pad and get your own handprints and footprints. They'll give you a card with her footprints already, so you WILL have that, regardless of whether or not you have a baby book! They give you the footprints :)

I didn't have a baby book for my oldest:( I totally regret it. I ended up making one when he was about three. With this baby I plan to be prepared! Not sure which baby book I'm going to purchase yet.. maybe I'll wait for you! :)

I have a baby book I got as a gift from Babies R Us. I have filled a good bit of it out but I also have my blog and my monthly posts about him as backup. They gave us a certificate at the hospital with his footprints that I put inside the baby book.

See the great thing about you having a baby before me is that I can learn all of your little tricks before my little girl is born in February! Haha. :) You look adorable and I love that scarf!

I didn't have a baby book, either! A friend of mine surprised me with one and I was like "oh man, I didn't even think of that!" Eeep! This is the one she got me and we loved it. It had a great spot in the back for all his hospital documents and trinkets for the first year:

I LOVED it. Beautiful illustrations on the pages and really heartfelt!

Also, the nurses had told me on our hospital tour to have Dad bring a plain white t-shirt or a blank tie. They can stamp baby's hands and feet prints on the shirt and tie for him to keep as a keepsake! I thought it was a cute idea. We brought a tie, but my husband is too scared to ever wear it to work so he put it in a special box and keeps it in the closet, haha.

I bought both my baby books at Deseret Book. I like the lds versions because there's a spot for blessing day and baptism day. But, to be honest, if you blog your baby's life there really isn't a need for a baby book.

If you look at baby memory books on Etsy they're so awesome!!!

Hooray!!! You're so close! As for baby books and footprints, don't sweat it. I'm making both my boys' babybooks digitally and just saving a blank page to glue/tape in things like their hospital bracelets and footprints. They do things differently at different hospitals, but both hospitals (one in NY and one in ID) just gave me footprints of my boys. You can request copies too. :)

You look so amazing for 36 weeks! If you don't get a baby book before, why don't you just get them to do an extra set of footprints on a plain sheet of paper, and just tape it in later? That way, you can take the time to find a book you love.

I still haven't finished the little guy's baby book, so I'm a worse mom than you!

I didn't do a baby book until after. I took Zoe's footprints myself. I even have a pink ink pad if you want to borrow it to use!

I didn't fill out his baby book until a few months after he was born, no biggie. There won't be very many 'new' things until they hit a few months old - that's when it gets interesting. ;) The hospital he was born at gave me a footprint page, not sure if that is standard now?

lol - I don't think you're a bad mom!!

I'm a mom/baby nurse and rarely have people bring baby books. We Stamp their footprints on little cards for moms to Place where they like. You're getting so close!

b/c i love to blog and SO used to typing, i have a baby book AND a baby blog that is personal and only for my eyes. I put SO MUCH more info and photos on the baby blog vs. the baby book... baby book, if you can find one that is inexpensive and has space for important first day/weeks info that is perfect!

Oh, you look so beautiful! Little girl is definitely loved. I bet you are so excited to meet her!

Mmm...I didn't have a baby book of any sort either. The hospital gave me 2 copies of his footprints on pieces of paper, which I could put into a book if I wanted to. But I'm not really the scrapbooking type. :) I'm not even sure what kind of baby book these people are telling you about! haha.
