just some randoms {9}

 And so the fun begins. Mia tries to crawl and climb all over everything.... but she doesn't know how to get down yet, HA!

This girl LOVES grass. She prefers to sit and crawl on that over a blanket, and of course she loves to eat it ;) But she can't STAND grass touching her head/face. (Her head looks really huge for her body, it's not, I promise!)

Mia STILL fits in her 0-3 month shoes... woo hoo! She has really skinny feet but they are long, so I'm not sure how they fit? But I'm excited about it because we have CUTE boots that she didn't get to wear last winter because her feet were to small, and luckily they aren't too big now :)

Have you ever seen a baby sleep with such perfect posture? Ha ha! (Her hair isn't normally sweaty like this. I was snuggling her before I laid her down, oops!)

Okay. Mia LOVES food and she LOVES to feed herself. I DON'T love to let her feed herself because as you can see, it's a messy mess! She smears the food all over her face, ears, hair, and it falls down in her chair and mushes on her clothes, and sometimes she accidentally swipes it to the ground. Ooooh the anxiety! I have to dig deep to make myself let her make these messes... am I the only one who struggles with that?

She is so cute! I had a hard time with the mess too, but developmentally it is VERY GOOD for her. And you know what? Just like everything else, it will pass! :)

I think I'll have that same anxiety when it comes to my kids because I am not a fan of messes like that either. Just like I'm not sure how I'm going to feed my kid because a lot of kid food I'm not a fan of either (ie, macaroni, spaghetti, etc)

Ah the joys! I have gotten to the point where I will feed Bentley 1 piece of food at a time because if there is multiple he will throw them on the ground. AH! haha But, I guess there are bigger battles to fight right!? And that is so cute she still fits in those shoes!

We are without a highchair until our stuff arrives and the mess from Aislynn feeding herself is unreal...and then she wants to crawl on me with her messy hands. I swear I need a shower after every mealtime!

Narrow, small feet, huh? Maybe you have a prima ballerina on your hands here? Mama & Daddy might need to put her into ballet classes at a young age! If she loves the grass so much then I'm curious so see what she would do with beach sand. And I'm loving her picture crawling through the table chairs! Mia is too cute! Thanks for sharing all these lovely pictures with us! Please give her hugs for me!

One thing I did with Olivia and now with Axel, when they like to feed themselves, you just give them an easy to clean up food (like cherrios or plain pasta) on their tray so they can feed themselves in between bites of the real dinner. Best of both worlds!
