I have been daydreaming about the day that it would finally be warm enough to spend the day outside with Mia. I couldn't wait to have a picnic on the grass, under a shady tree. That sounds kind of weird I guess, but it's been so cold and windy in my neck of the woods, so we really aren't able to play outside. But Mia loves to be outside! And she's so interested in everything going on around her, I just couldn't wait to be able to play with her!
That day finally came :) My best friend was in St George so I drove south and we had a perfect day together! We grabbed lunch, ate under the shade on the grass, and played at the splash pad (I mean, as much as Mia can play, ha ha!)
By the time we started to play in the water, it was past Mia's nap time. She obviously wasn't diggin' the chilly water on her toesies, ha ha! Once I put her down for her nap, I soaked up the sun (got my first sunburn, ouch!) and enjoyed some girl talk :) I had the best time! These are the kind of days we will live for this summer!

She seriously is the cutest!!! How cute is her bathing suit? I cant get enough of girls clothes. I probably sent 100 dollars in just a month after finding out my niece was a girl! I'm so glad you got to take her out. My niece was born in November of 2011. They live down South while we live in New England so when we went to visit we didnt get the chance to see her outside but last summer they came up here and it was SO much fun!! Splash pad was the best. Mia is wonderful, you are one blessed mama!!!

Ugh...I live in South Georgia and it's not even warm here!! Which is absolutely insane. It's usually in the 100+ degrees here by now. Or at least getting pretty close. It's been in the 60's and raining all week. :/ I'm craving a day in the sun!!
