Last year Eric treated me to the best birthday gift I could have asked for, especially since I'd just given birth to a baby the month before. If that doesn't do a number on the body, I don't know what does. Anyway, he sent me off to be a "diva for a day" ha ha. I waited a couple more months to cash in, but I got to enjoy a massage, facial, pedicure and lunch.
One word. Heaven!
I demanded (because that's the kind of wife I am, yikes!) that this become a yearly tradition because I loved it so! In fact, I wouldn't mind indulging every holiday... including St Patrick's Day and the 4th of July :) I'm only half kidding. That perfect husband of mine treated me to the package again this year, and once again I waited a couple more months to cash in, but this time my best friend came with.

This may make me incredibly vain and selfish, but I don't even care! Some serious pampering and girl time is the best ever! Who wants to join in next time?? :)

I have never had a spa day! I'd love a massage or something, but every time I mention it to Keith, he just laughs and shrugs it off. I did tell him that if we ever do inclusive again that we're doing a couples massage. He agreed - we'll see if he holds to that!
Adam got me a massage gift cert for Valentine's Day when Axel was three weeks old. I was so mad that he spent so much money! Haha! But when I finally got around to going (it was a while before I could lay on my stomach thanks to breastfeeding) it was soooooo nice. I had no back pain for at least a month.
PS, on Monday I'm driving through Cedar City on my way to CA. Do you and Mia want to meet for lunch???
I don't think you are selfish at all!! EVERYONE needs some time for themselves and whether or not they like Spa days I think everyone needs them to relax and recharge. I was just trying to find a good place to get a massage last night! I want to find a place that looks good but doesn't cost a fortune. Have a relaxing time!

I've never had a spa day but I told Jared for my 30th bday (which is a few years away , ha!) I want a full out day at the spa... everything! LOL

Best hubs EVER. That was my Christmas gift last year... and for 8 hours... my life was SO RELAXING!! It was ah-mazing! I love that you took a friend, too!!

There is NOTHING better than a spa day! I think we will need to plan one for our Vegas trip {and that is not a joke}.
