weekend review {it ended with a BANG}

This past weekend was a good one! We got to see so much of Eric (in preparation of not seeing him at all this week. He worked over 15 hours yesterday, today will probably be even worse. Only 4 more days of craziness for him... hopefully) and it was amazing! Friday I took Mia swimming and she warmed up to the water so quickly! At first she just chilled and lounged in but she quickly figured out how fun splashing was :) She was all smiles and excitement the rest of the time. It makes me so happy that she is learning to love the water! We went to dinner that evening with friends and had a great time!
Saturday I talked Eric into doing a family run of 3 miles again. I'm pretty sure I've got him convinced that a jogging stroller is completely necessary... successsss ;) And then we enjoyed an afternoon of one of Eric's favorite hobbies.... and Mia actually didn't mind it!

I asked where this girl learns this stuff, and Eric replied with, "She must be her mother's daughter!" ha ha!

Mia got a little fussy because she was so exhausted, but wouldn't fall asleep because she didn't want to miss anything! Who knows, maybe she IS her mother's daughter... Once she gave in, she slept the whole time. The guns didn't bother her at all with the ear muffs on! And I know Eric had a great time shooting! It's been a year since I last went shooting and it's safe to say that I'm a little rusty! I guess we'll have to go out a lot more now that it's nice weather! We ended the day with good food and Duck Dynasty! Eric's idea of a perfect day, minus the running ;)
