A million empty boxes is the perfect setting for hide and seek!
Loving: these stupid yogurts! Eric introduced them to me and of course I totally thought they were a waste of money and definitely not the healthiest (I make our own greek yogurt concoctions so I hate buying stuff like this when I could make it myself, and make it healthier) but then I tried one. And now I find myself cracking one open each night after Mia goes to bed. I guess this is cheaper and healthier than ice cream... maybe? ha ha!

Reading/Watching: lots of sweet Valentine books to Mia! I love love :)
Tangled, How to Train a Dragon and Frozen have been playing on repeat for the last week or so. I actually hate how much TV Mia's been watching (especially since she demands it now and throws major fits if I tell her no) but between trying to unpack while entertaining a sick little girl... shows just seemed like a good idea to give her down time. There will be lots more playing and outings once she's feeling better, and a lot less shows :)

Trying to: finish putting this house together. I'm pretty proud of how much I've unpacked already! The boxes that are left are the ones full of random crap that I'm avoiding... ha ha! I'll probably just stick them in storage! I still have lots to hang on the walls! Since this is a rental, we are just making stuff work instead of buying new furniture/decor to fill the space. But I'll definitely have to share pictures on the blog since I'm doing my best to make this "home" as long as we are renting!

Wishing: that my sick little family would get feeling better! I was so excited to move to warmer weather to hopefully avoid the sickness that comes with the cold... but I got sick the week of moving, Mia came down with a fever the day we moved to Arizona- turns out she caught my sore throat and passed it on to Eric. Yesterday marked 1 week and 1 day of Mia being sick, and spots in Eric's throat so off to Urgent Care we went! Poor Mia still had a sore throat so she and Eric were put on an antibiotic. Did I mention that our new insurance hasn't kicked in? That was one expensive sick day... but obviously worth every penny if it gets them better! #imissinsurance Oh, and I've picked up some type of head cold... awesome!

Excited for: a snowy weekend getaway this month! I'm super crushed that Eric won't be able to get away from work to come, but I'm excited for Mia to play in the snow (if there is snow?! Utah has been SO warm these past couple of weeks!) and spend time with family! She begs to wear her snow boots almost every day in Arizona, ha ha, so I'm excited for her to get some actual use out of them in the snow!

Tell us your greek yogurt concotions…I'm a big fan of greek yogurt and am always looking for new recipes.

I need to come hang out with you and Mia, y'all are watching some of my favorite movies. Tangled is so cute, right?

Go you on all the unpacking, the random boxes are the worst, yuck! Good luck and hope everyone feels better soon! love you, lady!

I hope you feel MUCH better for your weekend away...Mia will LOVE the snow! (I think that moving ALWAYS makes you sick - the change, the exhaustion, the actual moving...it's inevitable!) Those yogurts look SO GOOD. I've been on a Greek yogurt, granola and blueberry kick, but I'm ready for something new...how do you make yours? Do you just buy the yogurt and mix in different things? I am always looking for a new snack!! Have a great week!!

Great job on getting so much unpacked so quickly! I'm avoiding those last few random boxes too, they're the worst!

So glad that you've gotten so much done with the unpacking--it makes everything feel so much more settled once it's done, but it is a CHORE!! Love the pic of Mia and all the boxes (I'm sure it feels like you're surrounded doesn't it?? haha)
Hope everyone feels better soon!!

Those yogurt cups look so delicious! Especially the salted caramel one...I may need to add those to my next grocery list!

And I've decided that wintertime is when the average amount of tv time goes WAY up! We've been watching lots of movies as well...and I'm definitely not proud of it! But it sure is nice to occupy Elyse for an hour or so while I prep dinner or take care of the baby!

I hear ya! My Evie is all about Frozen and Tangled and I'm so glad she's not the only one who has melt downs when I tell her no tv.. It's been hard to not let her watch tv more often then usual with the new baby and the freezing weather. :/

Those yogurts are amazing. The coconut one is my favorite and I would eat one of those things every day if I could. I like to tell myself that it's much healthier than a bowl of ice cream. It is, right? And good job on the unpacking amidst sickness. Unpacking can take time, especially when you have a little helper, I always tried to get the boxes unpacked within the week we move. Usually it's doable. Hanging things on the wall ... that takes a little more time :) I can't wait for you to share pictures of your new home for now! :)

OH I hope you all feel better soon! Sick after a move is no fun at all! That picture of Mia with all the boxes is awesome. I think I'm going to have to make Callie a big giant box pile in the basement after we move! :)

Ughh...I hope you all feel better ASAP! It's amazing how much I take my health for granted until I feel miserable. By the way, yogurt is MUCH better for you than ice cream, so no guilt in that. I'm the girl that still eats ice cream before bed. Oops.

ugh so lame about the sickness rounds y'all are having. I hate that, when you pass it off to the next person just at the end of yours, and then it keeps going. Way to just keep the misery going. Even worse that you were between insurance at the time. Feel better guys!!

Oh no girl! I hope everyone starts feeling better soon! Being sick is the worst, especially while moving. At least it shouldn't happen too much now that you're in a warmer climate! Just make sure you dont catch whatever they have again!
