Loving: that Valentine's is already all over the place! Gimme all the hearts, pink decor and love! Eric loves to tease me (or maybe he's dead serious) about this being a "commercial holiday" or whatever they call it... but I love that this cute holiday promotes love! I'm excited to start brainstorming ideas on how to make this Valentines a special one. It will be our first holiday in our new state!

Reading/Watching: you guessed it! I'm not reading a dang thing (besides Mia's books) Maybe I should add a new book/series to my birthday wish list, ha!
So, the last season of Psych was just updated to Netflix! For some reason, I thought the final season was already on there when I mentioned how weird I thought the ending was! I'm so relieved that wasn't the final episode and we can't wait to see how the series ends! We've also been watching the Harry Potter movies and are totally enjoying them!!

Trying to: work up the courage to pack up my house. I mean, it's gotta happen, obviously! I'm just really dreading all the "no's" that will come out of my mouth in the next two weeks. We have one very curious toddler who LOVES to "help"... if you know what I mean!

Wishing: that I could always live by my friends, all of them! Obviously that's impossible, but a girl can dream! Sometimes I feel so picked on when I think of the amazing friendships I've made since being married to Eric, and how little time I've had to enjoy having them within reach. It's hard living so far from people I love, but I am thankful for the life long friendships that pick up where we left off, when we do get to see each other! Eric and I have been extremely blessed with the friendships we've gained throughout our marriage!

Excited for: our big move! Oh the fun we will have in Arizona! I have high hopes that this move will be really great for our family! I literally get butterflies (or knots, whatever you wanna call them) in my stomach when I think about getting out of here! My heart does break a little each time I think about leaving our doctor (I never knew why anyone got attached to a doctor until ours cared for me through pregnancy, delivered Mia and cared for her ever since) and moving Mia further from our families. This just means our visits will be even more special than normal... I'm counting on family visiting as often as possible (I'm talking to you, Brinkerhoff's!) and we will come back as often as we can! Otherwise, this move is just what we've been praying for and I can't wait to start this adventure!

Oh packing with a toddler. I recently did a major cleaning out of our closets and placed everything in boxes that needs to go to Goodwill. As soon as I'd turn around to put a new item in the box, Harper had ten of them pulled out in the floor. Why is it kids love to help? (;

Packing with a toddler will be crazy! I can't imagine. I love the sweetness of Valentines Day too - nothing like celebrating love, even if it is totally commercialized.

I am all sorts of excited about Valentine's Day too! Too bad there are never many cute things for boys this time of year...although I think Liam could rock some hearts pretty well!

We went through all the Harry Potters over the holidays and now I'm ready to start them again! The move must feel a little bittersweet. We moved across the country last year and I'm so happy we did, but that doesn't mean I don't miss my family and friends back home. I think I probably took those relationships a bit for granted and I now know to make the most of the time we all get together now!

LOVE that picture! It's a framer for sure :) Good luck with packing - we just did that a few months ago and it was bad enough without a toddler, ha! Maybe try and do a lot while she's asleep?!

Packing is never fun unless its for a vacation haha. But this move is exciting, and it will be great!! I totally hear ya on the friends thing. I was just thinking the other day about certain friends that I wish lived closer to us. I love Valentines Day because it's cute, cheesy, and all about love. :-) Hope that you're enjoying your day so far too!

I used to hate Valentines day but it's so different with little ones :) I can't wait to do fun crafts and work on our valentines for the exchange :)

I'm so excited for you and your family and the big move!! It's going to be totally hard at first getting into the swing of things, making new friends, etc. but it will all work out! Living away from extended family definitely has it's benefits, but we miss ours lots. It does get easier though :) Best of luck to you all! xo

I think all the holidays are just more fun when you have kids, Valentine's day included ;)

oh geez, I can only imagine packing with a toddler! I can barely do it when it's just me and the hubby! When I read that that you were moving, I thought holy cow when did that happen?! I don't remember her saying anything about that, but then realized it was earlier this week and I've been offline this week. Congrats on the new job and good luck packing and moving!

Ok, confession time. I hate Valentine's Day! :( I always have, I don't really know why. I mean, I have my ideas why but eh whatever. I hate packing too... good luck with that. I'll probably have to do it at some point this year too and it's the worst. Can't wait to hear all about your move!

Your daughter is so adorable, the photo is so perfect! :) I loove Valentine's Day too. It's my second favorite holiday (next to Christmas). Hope you have a wonderful time packing. ;)

Yay for getting ready for Valentine's Day! It'll be here before you know it anyway, so you're ahead of the game :) I laughed out loud when you said how you'll be saying "no" a lot haha. A helpful toddler sometimes isn't the most helpful (but it's so cute!)
I know your move will go well and I think it's great that you're starting off with such positive feelings. It's normal to have some knots...any change is scary even if you're excited about it. It's just another opportunity for you guys to make MORE lifelong friends :)

Love that picture of you and Mia. Too precious!

I'm so excited for you! That's obviously a huge step, but such an awesome one! So many great new things and experiences are coming your way and I can't wait to read all about it! Best of luck with the packing, though. That part totally sucks. Haha!

I hope you love it in Arizona! You must be so excited! Best wishes to you. I imagine it must be hard to concentrate on anything else when you have such an awesome new move coming up... Have you already started researching all the fun children's activities there and places to go? How about restaurants and night entertainment? So happy for you!

The more I read about it, the more excited I am about your new adventure in Arizona. I'd dread the packing too, but I'm sure you'll get it all finished - even if you're still putting things in boxes the morning of the move.
