picture happy {or not}

When Eric is put in front of the camera... he couldn't be happier about it *sarcasm* Take this picture for example. While he is glaring at the camera I am threatening his life, or something, if he doesn't smile "for real", because we all know how Eric loves to sport the fake smile, ha ha!
Mia is 2 months old
Which totally makes sense now. I've figured out where Mia learned to fake smile. She had it perfected before the age of 8 months. Daddy rubs off pretty quickly.
Mia is almost 8 months. Mia's dress c/o Matilda Jane
Speaking of rubbing off.... you put Eric behind the camera and life isn't much better for me. Sometimes he likes to snap 10 (thousand) pictures in a row until I start yelling at him.
Mia is almost 3 months old.
And the best part is.... he catches it all on camera *sarcasm* I mean, seriously?
Wow, just wow!
That husband of mine... he sure is a peach when the camera comes out! It's a good thing I love him so.... or I may have strangled him years ago ;) HA!

Please tell me I'm not the only one who struggles with a camera hating husband who makes it his mission to torture his wife every time the camera comes out?!

Joe doesn't mind being photographed, however he hates when I ask him to take photos for fashion post. Ha

Jeremy likes to see how fast he can annoy me when taking my outfit pictures. It drives me crazy.

OH MY GOSH!! This is probably one of my favorite posts that I've EVER read of yours! Seriously! I threaten Rob for his life when we are taking pics and your face totally sums it up in the first photo. I'm still laughing!

greg does the SAME thing!!! every time i try to get him to take a picture he snaps 10 before im ready and making ridiculous faces.

This is exactly what my husband does too! When we take family photos - professional ones at least - I have to spend like the month beforehand mentally preparing him to "like" being in front of the camera and prepare myself so it can be as stress free as possible haha or else out comes the fake smile!

LOL, my husband doesn't not know how to fake smile. It's actually funny. We went to Europe for 3 weeks, took about 1500 pictures and he was smiling in exactly 1 picture and that smile was a stretch to call it a smile. And my husband does the same thing with taking a bunch of pictures in a row until I tell him to stop taking pictures, you can see me walking towards the camera to grab it from me. Oh those husbands of ours! Good thing we like them.

But your hair always looks fabulous though :)

Haha, my husband is very similar. He hates having his picture taken, and when he takes pics for me, he takes 100 at a time and takes them too soon when we're not ready - he says he's trying to capture the "natural" moments. lol!

oh lordie lol! Aaron is terrible at taking candid shots. Its either everyone has to say "cheeeeese" or he gets the worst candid shots ever..such as me bent over (swear its on purpose) or my in the middle of chewing steak (again..meant to distroy me!)..men!

LOL this is hilarous. I will tell you, my husband is exactly the same. He claims he needs to be buzzed to smile like a normal person. Instead of a diaper bag, I should arm myself with a cooler bag so at least I can have some nice shots... and not him smiling like a goof lol

hahahah this cracks me up. The third picture is probably the funniest. "Can you please just wait one minute and take one normal picture?!"

My husband also hates the camera. He will smile for a picture but if you try to get a better one or keep taking them all night long he is OVER it. He can go from having a good time to threatening to throw the camera far far away. Ok so that hasn't happened YET but I know that's what he is thinking. MEN.

Story of my life! My husband likes to snap away, too. He likes to zoom in and take hideous pictures of me. Maybe they do that so they won't be handed the camera again! Ha!

HAHA I LOVE THESE! THANKS FOR SHARING.

Believe it or not, Brad is AWESOME about the camera!

lol you're not alone! Jeffrey is terrible in front of and behind the camera. He's definitely the type to take a million pictures of random crap. He videotaped a trashcan when we were at Disney last November lol.

haha! love this! i love how our husbands try so hard to take good pictures, but they just never turn out quite as good as when momma is behind the viewfinder!

Hahaha!!!! Charlie does the fake smile as well. Noel is pretty decent behind the camera, but my brother...oh my brother. You should see the pictures he takes of me.

I purposely didn't teach my husband the multi-shot setting on our camera because I already know he'd use up all our memory. He already takes pictures of the weirdest things when he carries the camera...a bird that made him laugh (blurry of course), my butt, random people. Luckily he doesn't mind having his picture taken. Most times he's happy to strike a ridiculous pose.

Mine won't take pictures AT ALL! We've been together 8 years and we have very few pictures together :(.

LOL! He looks so happy to be taking a picture. My hubby is the same way, most of the time when he see's me pull out my camera he'll go into another room.

Haha! That is hilarious! My mother does the same thing when she gets ahold of the camera. She will take photos non stop.

I know a number of people who have a problem with having their photo taken, me I love to have mine taken if only I would look good in them.....lol

Not alone at all!! It is like pulling teeth with my husband! Men just don't get it I think well the ones that aren't into photography anyway lol.

Rachel said...

hahaha!!! I love that you shared these pictures! My husband doesn't mind being on camera, though he can get pretty goofy and either does silly faces or scary glares and gang signs at the camera. When he has the camera in his hand, he'll take 100 pictures, all while constantly moving!

Girl, this is why I hate Brandon taking my outfit pictures for the blog. He does the same thing!! Arg! Sometimes he is so frustrating, I'd rather use my tripod and take them myself. Silly boys. Geeze!!

Laura Darling said...

Matt does the same thing!!! If I ask him to take a picture he just holds the shutter button down continuously and I end up with 400 pictures!!! AhhH!!!

Kym said...

This post cracked me up!! My husband is just like this...he takes pictures all the time when I'm not ready. His response is just that candid photos are the best, especially when you don't expect them. The worst part is that he never deletes the bad photos! Haha :)

men & cameras. what is the deal?!

This is so funny! I have to constantly remind my husband to "smile!" when I am pointing the camera at him. When he takes pictures, my head is always cut off or the whole image is off centered. Men! haha

Haha mine does well on camera but makes me regret it when he is behind the camera...

My husband always starts laughing when I ask to take a picture, and then complains about what a typical blogger I am. However, he's a pretty good sport about it, when all is said and done!

Kelly said...

My husband is the same way. He thinks he is hilarious when he takes constant pics, while I am 'getting ready' for the pic. He also like to shoot close up that are not so pretty either! Men!

Oh, this is just like us! Taking a simple picture becomes such a chore!
