little letters

Dear Eric, I MISS YOU! You've worked over 100 hours this week... yuck! And what's even more disgusting is that you haven't complained once about it. Thank goodness you're married to me. I can definitely complain enough to make up for your lack of it ;) But I appreciate how hard you work! And I appreciate even more the fact that this should only happen 1 week a year, ha!

Dear mom's who jog, what is your favorite jogger stroller?! Eric told me to research which one is best so that we can finally take the plunge and buy one! This is my version of research ;)

Dear summer, I am so happy you're here! I remember this time last year, laying around in my first trimester funk, daydreaming about winter time. I just couldn't wait to meet my baby girl! But now that she's here, I can't WAIT to show her more of the world, play in the water, and enjoy the warm days with my sweet Mia!

Dear Mia, you are such a silly little monkey these days! You LOVE hanging out upside down. I think it's the weirdest thing but if it makes you happy.... And your laughter is the sweetest sound in the world! You give of it so freely these days and it melts my heart! Please, please, please don't EVER stop laughing!

Dear Eric, I forgot to tell you how I love you so! I am looking forward to relaxing with you and finally spending time together this weekend! And heaven knows how excited Mia is about this! That girl is head over heels for her daddy!

Dear netflix, I am dying for the newest seasons of my trashy shows to come on! Hurry up and update my queue, pretty please?

Dear readers blog friends, I don't know why I'm so nervous to say this... but I'm now offering sponsoring! This blog will still be the same ol' blog it has always been, and Mia will remain the star of it ;) But I love blog love and sharing new shops and talents of you amazing people (seriously, you all blow me away with your talents!) will be fun to do! And Mia thinks it's pretty great because this will help build her college funds ;) (But seriously...)

My child would NEVER dig the running stroller.
I'm pretty sure she wanted to get out and run with me.
I wish I could run somewhere now.
With Our dirt road/ country-esq living - I'd KEEP a sprained ankle.
and OH MY GOSH. NETFLIX!
Please, renew the queue.

100 hours? Wow, that's intense. Hubs has some work ethic.

As for strollers, Bob is absolutely the best brand but it is super expensive. I have a Shwinn double that somebody gave me and I absolutely love. I also have a Baby Trend single that I used for Jed. It works great for $100 or so. Sometimes you can get lucky at used kids stores and find a great deal. Sometimes you can even find an authentic jogging stroller. Those rock!

That's easy. Get a Bob. Best purchase we ever made!

100 hours of work?!??! That's so not ok! Nate's worked up to 80 before and even that was miserable! I'm glad that won't be happening for you guys again!

Awwww sorry hubs is working so hard! Hope you get some time together this weekend!

Judah LOVES hanging upside down too! It's hilarious! Although, be careful because the other day he was hanging over my legs, and I had his arms...and all of the sudden he flipped his legs over his head and did a FLIP! I about DIED! It scared him, but thank goodness our arms are so flexible and that I had my hand on him! THAT could have been bad. Oh, mommy moments!

HAPPY WEEKEND!

I'm visiting from the link up and I'm so glad I clicked on your blog. Mia is adorable! And oh my goodness...100 hours? I was feeling bad that my husband had to work 50 hours this week! I can't even imagine.

Bob if you have the money. I didnt with Jayda and used a baby trend and it worked just fine. The only thing I didn't like was that it always vered a little to the left. I also heard from others that it did that to them too, but hey my left arm just got that much stronger. :)

I also want a chariot. My sister got one with her first even though it was a double. They are super expensive for a good one but if you do you wont ever have to buy another stroller again. Plus you can hook it up on a bike if you like that kind of thing. I also like it because they can lay back and you can keep the sun out. My sister has 4 kids and she would just pile them in with a bunch of blankets when we would do 5ks.

I needed a jogging stroller too but we couldn't afford or justify buying a BOB or something like that. I did my research and decided on a Baby Trend. I love it! I'm sure a BOB is even better, but I think the Baby Trend is a good in-between if you can't afford one of those other ones. I ran tons of 5ks, 10ks, and trained for my half marathon with my baby trend and it was great. That's my two cents! One day I'm sure I'll end up getting a BOB, ya know, when we're rich, and my husband knows I'll never give up running, so he knows it'll be worth it! :)

100 hours-that's rough! At least it's the weekend now! So I have a question. I am not so technologically smart, but I love blogging. How do you go about getting a lot of followers and then get a sponsor and such? Like I said...not too smart when it comes to these things. Perhaps before that happens I need to learn right?

baby giggles are the sweetest sound! I know exactly what you mean when you say hearing her little laugh melts your heart.

I LOVE our baby trend jogging stroller. It is so smooth and has a front wheel that can either swivel or lock in place. Its got the bike tires that are easy to pop on and off and it gets super compact. I've heard BOBs are great, but I just can't justify the insane amounts of money they cost.

100 hours?!? Oh my what does he do? Now I feel bad for complaining about my weeks where I have 60-70 hours!

I totally agree with everyone else a BOB is the way to go. My boys live in the stroller... we run in the morning and then we use it for adventures in the afternoon. Totally worth the investment and just remember you can use it with all of your babies!

I loved this post, seriously it is sooo sweet i LOVE reading your letters. If i was smart i would totally write letters to Kaden and Leighton. As far as joggers go you know how i feel. There is nothing better than a BOB. Even with a flat tire i still ran with it haha.
